Abu Hajar Mohammed is a public speaker, poet and writer, who has dedicated many years to conveying the message of Islam to others on a street dāwah level. He is currently focusing on using poetry as a means of dāwah alongside other creative avenues, whilst strictly adhering to the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Abu Hajar has obtained a 2:1 BA, from the University of East London in Theatre Studies, and is currently studying with qualified teachers in the Islamic Sciences.

#The_Narrations_are_the_Religion
Imām Ahmad bin Hanbal رحمه الله said,
عليكم بالسنة، عليكم بالأثر، عليكم بالحديث
“Upon you is (to follow) the Sunnah, upon you is (to follow) the narrations, upon you is (to follow) the hadith [of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)].”
[Ṭabaqāt al-Ḥanābilah 2/120]
Ibn Abdul Barr reported: Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه لله said,
“Al-Awza’i had opinions, Mālik had opinions, Sufyān al-Thawri had opinions. Each of them had opinions, and it is all the same to me.
وَإِنَّمَا الْحُجَّةُ فِي الآثَارِ
Indeed, the proof is only in the narrations.”
[Jāmiʻ Bayān al-ʻIlm wa Faḍlihi 1299]
Sufyân Al-Thawrî said,
“The narrations (al-âthâr) are the religion.”
And it is reported that he also said, “A man should not even scratch his head except based on a narration.”

Al-Musayyib b. Râfi’ Al-Asadî said, “We only follow, we do not innovate; we follow behind and do not start anything [in the religion], and we will never stray as long as we adhere to the narrations.”
