Okay, so I know that Miyamoto is moving away from the Mario franchise as a whole, so the whole "Peach and Mario are just 'friends'" section in the video isn't represented correctly (as Miyamoto shouldn't represent Nintendo as a whole). As said in the captions of this video, the scene was made because was funny, not because I have anything against Nintendo or Miyamoto. Not that anyone is complaining about it, but might as well mention it.

It's been 2069 years since the death of Julius Caesar. The general and dictator was the turning point that made his Republic into Empire (Though it was his heir, Augustus who made the Roman Republic into the Roman Empire) and the conqueror of Gaul. His name would also be a literal title of leaders for centuries and we live under a calendar that he put into place, with a month named after him (July). May he rest in peace and beware the Ides of March.
