Caprice & Ella Season 10 Premieres This Spring with New Opening Sequence and Historic Ensemble Reunion

Fort Wayne, IN – December 5, 2025 – The acclaimed ensemble drama Caprice & Ella will return for its landmark tenth season this spring (premiere date is 2/26/2026), airing Thursdays in 2026 and again in spring 2027. Following audience feedback, the series will move to Mondays for Season 11 in fall 2026, after the Friday scheduling experiment proved unsuccessful.

Season 10 marks a pivotal chapter both on screen and behind the scenes. The narrative centers on the emotional return of Samantha, Ava’s daughter, who reunites with Tabitha for the first time since 2018 and introduces her children, Michael II and Leah, to the ensemble. Themes of resilience, identity, and generational continuity drive the season, as Ava, Breeanna, and the ensemble integrate a new generation into their rituals.

Behind the camera, the season ushers in significant changes:

• Karly Jameson has been promoted to Co‑Executive Producer.
• Lanise McClannahan joins Maribel Mort as Producer. Rachael Passalt and Janice Morganstein were fired as producers following “Flagged by Design” (but staying on as cast members).
• Legendary composer Mike Post scores his final season before retirement, closing a musical era for the series.


Season 10 also debuts a new opening sequence, paying homage to television classics Guiding Light, Roseanne, and both the original and rebooted MacGyver. The sequence blends ensemble shots, archival motifs, and symbolic imagery to reflect the show’s themes of resilience and renewal.

“Season 10 is about legacy and renewal,” said creator Ava Zinn. “We’re honoring the past while embracing the future—welcoming Samantha, Michael II, and Leah into the ensemble, and celebrating Mike Post’s extraordinary contribution to our story.”

To our viewers, supporters, and ensemble allies:

Due to recent developments involving Purdue Fort Wayne and external scrutiny from local law enforcement in Fort Wayne, the four-part Caprice & Ella episode “Flagged by Design” (Production Codes 905–908) is being temporarily pulled from rotation.

This episode was created to document and dramatize real events surrounding my experience in the ASL II course — including emotional injury, procedural obstruction, and ADA retaliation. It was never intended as a threat. It was testimony. It was truth.

Unfortunately, institutions have chosen to misinterpret expressive documentation as misconduct. Rather than address the harm, they’ve flagged the episode itself — a creative work rooted in advocacy, catharsis, and survival.

I stand by every word, every timestamp, and every emotional beat. But for now, “Flagged by Design” will remain archived and protected until it can be viewed in full context — not through the lens of retaliation.

Due to an incident that occurred on August 29, 2025, Part 2 of Flagged by Design will now air on November 28, 2025.

This decision was not made lightly. The episode contains striking similarities to the events of 8/29, and out of respect for the emotional impact on Ava Zinn, her household, and chosen family, we are postponing its release to allow space for healing and reflection.

The arc remains a raw and unflinching look at systemic failure, protest energy, and the toll of institutional harm. Caprice & Ella’s reactions—518 hisses and 216 defensive barks—continue to guide the emotional truth of this story, which is outlined in the screenshots of an email Ava received on 8/29.
