What are Design Tokens? (Simple explanation)

Answer:-
Design tokens are the visual design atoms of the design system — specifically, they are named entities that store visual design attributes.

Simple example -

Suppose you have a dog. There might be 100 dogs in your locality. So you will name your dog right? For example Charlie, so Charlie becomes a token 😀. Now you can easily communicate with others using your dog's token name.

NOW READ THE DEFINITION AGAIN 😁

In this analogy
- The dog represents a unique design element (e.g., a color, typography, or spacing).

- The name "Charlie" becomes a token, which is a unique identifier for that specific design element.

- By using the token name "Charlie", you can easily communicate with others about your dog, just like how design tokens facilitate clear communication among designers and developers about specific design elements.
