PMC Urban Designer Recruitment 2026

The Pune Municipal Corporation (Road Department) is seeking experienced professionals for the PMC Urban Street Design Cell.

This recruitment drive aims to hire Urban Designers on a contract basis (6 months, extendable) to support projects like BRT, NMT corridors, and Metro integration

Positions and Compensation:

Senior Urban Designer (2 Posts): ₹1,25,000 per month
Junior Urban Designer (7 Posts): ₹1,00,000 per month

Eligibility Requirements:

- Educational Qualification: B.Arch/B.Plan minimum qualification plus a Master’s Degree in Urban Design, Landscape Design (M.Arch UD/LA), Urban Planning (M.Tech Planning), or a related field

Professional Experience:
Senior: Minimum 10 years in streetscape and public work design
Junior: Minimum 5 years in streetscape and public work design

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, MS Office, and 3D modelling/visualization tools

Languages: Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi is preferred

Key Responsibilities:
Preparing plans and CAD drawings for BRT, NMT corridors, pedestrian zones, and riverfront development

Ensuring projects align with the Pune Urban Street Design Guidelines and National best practices

Providing technical leadership and design oversight for Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) and street design concepts
