Hey folks, sorry for the hiatus. As I've mentioned in some videos, I'm a grad student studying wildlife biology and as I'm nearing completion (just started my last semester!) it's been pretty much all consuming and I haven't had time for much else. I have the data collected for a new video, I just have to record and edit. My goal is to get it out there by March at the latest. Thanks for your patience and support!
For now, here's a photo of me doing field work for my thesis this summer! I'm deploying an ARU (autonomous recording unit) which we use to monitor songbirds during the breeding season! I deployed many of these units across the state to get an idea of how breeding birds are responding to different forest management strategies.
Bonus points if you can successfully ID the tree I'm attaching it to!
