Here are two of many promotional jerseys the sorcerers did. The first one was used on valentines day games in 1999 and 2000. They eventually switched to a different design after the 2000-01 but sadly that is currently lost media. The second jersey is from Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi night on November 20th, 2004 to promote the shows debut on Cartoon Network the day prior.

Here is a list of the following promotional jerseys that are yet to surface:
St Patricks Day/Christmas (1999-2014; they stopped doing holiday jerseys after leaving the cwhl)
Sailor Moon Night (January 17th, 2004)
Savannah Americans Night (October 25th, 2008)
Star Wars Night (November 2nd, 2011)
Barbie Night (2011)
Transformers Night (2012)
Hello Kitty Night (2013)

After the 2020-21 NWHL season, the Birmingham Vultures suspended operations. The playoffs were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The vultures were already struggling with attendance, despite playing in the same venue as the successful Birmingham Bulls of the SPHL, and they had not made the playoffs in their entire existence. From 2016 to 2018, they nearly sold out their home openers and themed nights but around 2018-2020 attendance began to drop. They had only won 79 games in their 5 year history, having the worst record in league history.

Our lady peace is playing chris benoits sing again after nearly 20 years of refusing to play it.
This right here is why I think rock & roll part 2 may return to the nhl as a goal song again. Granted, not all teams will use it again but I think the devils avalanche and predators will be the only ones to reintroduce it since it was so iconic for those teams. That will also work because most of the league have found new iconic songs (chicago, ottawa and florida for example) so it wont be overused by every team.

Gary Glitter doesnt own this song. Its stupid to avoid a song just because of what he did. Hate the artist not the art.

But yeah please ‪@njdevils‬‪@ColoradoAvalanche‬‪@NashvillePredatorsNHL‬ please bring back rock & roll part 2 for the 2025-26 nhl season!!!!!

A creepypasta based on a dream I had this morning before waking up.

It happened in the spring of 2000—somewhere between March and April. I was in first grade at the time. That morning, our teacher, Mrs. Leslie, had wheeled in the big TV on a cart and put on Barney & Friends while she stepped away to the teachers’ lounge. She left the class alone, assuming we’d just quietly watch.

For the first five minutes, everything was normal. Barney was singing, the kids were dancing, and the usual overly cheerful tone filled the classroom. Then, without warning, the TV started emitting a strange humming noise. It was low and droning—almost like a voice, but not human. It was mechanical, rhythmic, unnatural. It didn’t belong.

The sound lasted for maybe two or three minutes, but it felt much longer. I remember freezing, unable to make sense of it, until panic set in. I started screaming and crying. I wasn’t the only one—some of my classmates were covering their ears, others just stared blankly at the screen. Still, Mrs. Leslie didn’t come back until the humming finally stopped.

When she did return, she seemed confused, even a little shaken when she saw our faces. She quickly turned off the TV and let us play on the classroom computers for the next hour to calm down. Most of the kids went to Kid Pix or some educational game. For whatever reason, I went to pbskids.org. I don’t know why—I guess I just wanted something familiar. I clicked on a Between the Lions game.

About 20 seconds into the game, the same humming returned—through the speakers this time. That exact same unnatural drone. I didn’t cry this time. I screamed again, but instead of panicking, I remembered something. Just a week earlier, my dad had shown me how to use a screen recording program that captured both video and audio. I launched it immediately and hit record. Then I saved the file to a portable hard drive I happened to have in my backpack. I still don’t know why I had it with me. Luck, maybe.

After computer time, we had lunch and recess. The rest of the day passed in a blur. That sound stuck with me—it echoed in my head. I felt dizzy, sick to my stomach. When I got home, I told my dad everything and showed him the video. He looked stunned.

Then he told me something strange—he had recorded that exact episode of Barney & Friends that morning for my little sister Kaylie, who was two at the time and still asleep during the broadcast. We played back the VHS tape together. And sure enough... the hum was on the recording.

I had both the classroom screen capture and the TV recording. Two separate devices. Same audio. It wasn’t just a glitch.

Dad, who was always into weird tech stuff, had a theory. He said it might’ve been a broadcast frequency error, or maybe even a government test—some kind of audio pattern meant to trigger certain reactions. He half-joked that it sounded like something the CIA might’ve slipped in as an experiment. But deep down, we both knew something about it felt… wrong. Sinister.

Later that evening, as we were watching the local news, a chilling report came on.

Five of my classmates—five kids who had been in that classroom with me—had died. All of them, within hours of getting home from school. The cause? Unknown. The news anchor described it as a “mysterious, flu-like illness.” Authorities launched an investigation immediately, but they found nothing in the school. Nothing in the cafeteria. Nothing in the air. No toxins. No infections. Nothing.

Nothing except that sound.

I turned over both the VHS and the computer recording to the FBI a few days later. They said they’d “look into it.” I never heard back.

But I kept copies. I still have them—locked away on a spare hard drive, and in a fireproof box along with the tape. Every few years I take a listen, trying to make sense of it, trying to see if I was just a scared kid hearing something harmless.

But every time I listen… that hum still makes my stomach turn.

And the worst part? Sometimes, when I close my eyes, I can still hear it.
