Oof, this last episode of Road to the Top really hit me man. just the tie in with Vega's real life story + the depiction here in the show hit so hard for me. I'm going to go hide now.
Basically doing this so I kind of make another video... I was looking at the anime that came out from 2024 and wanted to pick my like top picks for each season:
Fall 2024 - Blue Box / Dandadan
Summer 2024 - Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!
Spring 2024 - Girls Band Cry / Kaiju #8
Winter 2024 - Dungeon Meshi
When this Girls und Panzer 'oner' for Girls Und Panzer I knew (even though I knew well before) that the staff loves this show. There's no reason for them to make a scene this involved but they did it anyway. I don't think there's anything else like this in the series.
For whatever reason I kept getting inundated with this show and finally found the title of the show (Puniru is a Kawaii Slime). Ended up just throwing it on while working and found it pretty funny. This scene where Kawaii hugs Puniru into oblivion had me rollin'.
