Hello, humans. Just in case 5:47 is a tl;dw situation somehow, the gist of this quick video is that there's (probably) not going to be more game reviews on here. Which is probably no surprise after 5 months or so of inactivity.
Sorry if this happens to be disappointing. I noticed the sub count has been steadily increasing since early this year, and I had a commenter comment on here and on my other channel if I was still active. I had plans to do a Gothic 3 review after finishing a let's play series on it, but the urge went away when I was putting things together. I really have no idea what to say about it that hasn't already been said.
I understand completely if people were wanting to unsubscribe. I've pivoted more into doing let's plays and sometimes streaming on the other channel, and have been enjoying that quite a bit more despite this channel getting a fair bit more attention. My plan now is to focus on let's plays and streams, and maybe make other videos to go along with it that isn't a game review.
Appreciate all the comments and encouragement during my brief stint in all this.
Got it up on time after all, the video actually rendered. I reseated the graphics card and RAM sticks, double checked cables, and I *think* that worked. Not sure. I could've just been lucky, so I'm still keeping an eye on my PC in the meanwhile.
But here's my ramble about Gothic II: Piranha Bytes best game. It's in my top 10 along with Ultima VII and such, and of course, PB might be shutting down right when I feel like playing through their games. I didn't talk about Night of the Raven, because I played this on steam without it using the Gothic II Classic Mod. I go into the why a bit in the video.
I finished the Gothic II video, but I'm having issues rendering again. My computer shuts down and restarts randomly during the rendering process. It happened with Dark Messiah of Might and Magic too and I thought I fixed it. I'll have to troubleshoot this for a little while, so I don't know for sure when the video is going to be uploaded.
Working on the Gothic II Classic video and it looks like the trilogy is on sale, as well as other Piranha Bytes games (Arcania being the only non-PB game, and Forsaken Gods). Thought I'd post this here if there happens to be at least 1 person who hasn't played them.

One of the greatest CRPGs of all time despite its obvious jank which does nothing to hold it back.

Not a thing for everyone here, but I recently finished up Gothic 1 and still have the recording footage on my second SSD. I wasn't planning on doing a video on it, but I got things organized for it as I'm feeling the itch to talk about it for January.
This one is a bit longer than usual, but here it is. Ultima IX: Ascension. The best game in the series. I basically talk about my experiences with this game at release, the inconsistencies I noticed back then, and there's a segment where I talk about Ultima Online and its influence on the final game. As well as some other fun stuff.
Happy Thanksgiving. The next video will probably be on The Lost Vale, the expansion to Ultima VIII: Pagan.
Happy Halloween. 💀 The Legacy: Realm of Terror video is finished. Old DOS horror game from 1992 ('93 in NA). Never heard of this one until it came out on GOG (also out on steam), and only had about 2 hours of playtime in it. Very difficult game, but I managed to make it to the end. Even did another playthrough while I was editing.
