For the past 2 decades, Michael has been one of the most successful songwriter/producers in contemporary jazz. With over 50 CDs to his credit, his signature sound has produced 65 top 30 Contemporary Jazz hits (including 38 top 5s and 25 #1s), 5 billboard top 10s for sales, over 200 million streams, and a '07 Grammy for guitarist George Benson, winning best pop instrumental.
A prolific pianist, Michael's '23 release of his album Never too Late featured 3 Billboard #1 singles, The Way She Moves, Talk to Me, and Let it Breathe, which spent 4 weeks at #1, plus Summer In Blue, which hit #2. His latest single, Happy Hour, released on August 23rd on his new label B-Hive Records, also hit #1.
