LADIES OF MODESTY

Some of life’s deepest lessons are taught in chapters we never asked God to write. ❤️

I thought I was big enough to handle motherlessness. But as the years have passed, I have learned that there is no age at which losing your mom becomes easy.

Growing up, I believed my mother would always be present. I imagined her watching me grow and being there in all seasons. Then a strange illness came. She became sick, and eventually, we lost her.

Grief has taught me that life can change without warning. Some days I am okay; other days, a memory quietly reminds me of the person I wish was still here.

Last week, I met one of my lost old friend, a woman in her 60s who seemed low. When I asked what was wrong, she told me she had lost her mother the previous month. That conversation stayed with me.

It reminded me that grief does not consider your age. Because no matter how old we become, we never stop being someone's daughter.

It also reminded me of God's presence through every season. Before the loss, we may not know what is coming. In the loss, we may question why. After the loss, we may not have all the answers, but we can discover that God never left.

I share this from a place of having walked through grief with God. I have leaned on the Holy Spirit through the darkest days, and He has truly helped me. I may not understand everything God has allowed, but His faithfulness has taught me to trust Him even when I cannot explain the pain.

To anyone grieving, be gentle with yourself. You can cry and still have faith. You can miss them and still have joy. Your tears do not mean you lack faith; they mean you loved.

We may not have answers to every “why,” but we can hold on to this: God was there before it happened, He was there through it, and He is still here now.

Even in the darkest days, God is near. ❤️

LADIES OF MODESTY

“Never underestimate what God can do with a girl who simply says YES.”

This picture takes me back to 2022 the first time I stood on an altar to minister to adults. By then, I had already served as a Sunday school teacher for 7 years and had been building Ladies of Modesty for 3 years. I had boldly asked my youth director for a chance to minister on a random youth day, and I spent two weeks preparing to speak about David the shepherd boy God chose.

That morning, my dad was so afraid for me that he wanted to take me through the sermon again. 😂 I laughed because he didn’t know that, for almost two years, I had been quietly walking a journey of consecration, prayer and preparation of the unknown 😉. I had only shared my plans with my mentor, who told me one thing: “Pray much.”

Then came the moment. Standing before nearly 90–120 people, I could feel the weight of carrying God's revelation. I was scared, but I was intentional. The ministration was powerful, and I walked away knowing, “I have stepped into something.”

And the enemy noticed too. That same day, went back to my Business premises... sound system was struck by electricity, and the next morning, I woke up with no voice. 😭 It took me a week to recover.

But I learned a lesson I have never forgotten: what God builds in you secretly will eventually speak publicly. Opposition may come when you finally step into purpose, but resistance is not proof that you missed God it can be a reminder that what you carry matters.

I was just a simple girl… but I was advantaged by God. And honestly, I’m still becoming. ❤️

Trusting God in the Midst of the Storm 🌊❤️

Sometimes, trusting God is easy when everything is going well. But what happens when the storm comes? When the prayers seem unanswered, the doors are closing, and you cannot see a way forward?

That is where faith is truly tested.

The disciples once found themselves in a terrible storm while Jesus was with them in the boat. The waves were raging, but Jesus was asleep. They became afraid and cried out to Him. Jesus got up and calmed the storm.

Mark 4:39 says, “He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’”

What a reminder that the presence of a storm does not mean the absence of God. Jesus was in the boat even when the disciples could not understand what was happening.

Maybe you are in a storm right now. You may not know when it will end, but you can know Who is with you in it.

Don't let the size of your storm become bigger than your view of God. The same God who was faithful yesterday is still faithful today.

Sometimes God calms the storm around you, and sometimes He gives you peace while you are still in the middle of it. Either way, He remains in control.

So breathe. Pray. Hold onto His Word. Keep trusting.

Your storm has a limit, but God's faithfulness has no end. 🌊❤️

Dear woman of God,

If God has called you into ministry, don't make the mistake of believing your future husband must match every level of your spiritual journey or ministry assignment.

A godly husband isn't measured by how many sermons he preaches, how many platforms he stands on, or whether he has a ministry title. What truly matters is that he genuinely loves Jesus, is committed to growing in his faith, loves and honors you, is teachable, and is willing to support God's purpose for your life.

Being the spiritual leader of a home isn't about having a microphone or leading a congregation. It's about leading with Christlike character, humility, wisdom, and a heart that seeks God.

Many women faithfully serving in ministry are married to men whose calling is outside the pulpit. Their husbands may not be preachers, but they are faithful believers, loving partners, and strong spiritual anchors in their homes.

Don't let a narrow picture of what a "ministry husband" should look like cause you to overlook the godly men God places in your path. Sometimes the man God has prepared for you won't fit your expectations, but he will fit God's purpose.

Pray for discernment, not just a checklist. God's best often looks different from what we imagined, but it is always better than what we could have planned ourselves.

LADIES OF MODESTY

We didn't come this far by luck. Grace has carried us.

Welcome to August 2026!

As we step into this new month, may God go before us, make every crooked path straight, and fill our days with His goodness and favor. May August be good to us. May it be a month of answered prayers, open doors, restored hope, and beautiful surprises we never saw coming.

For those who have been waiting, may this be the month of divine remembrance. For those who are weary, may God renew your strength. For those carrying silent burdens, may you find peace, comfort, and joy that only He can give.

May every setback become a setup for something greater. May every delay turn into a testimony. May we experience good health, wisdom, provision, genuine laughter, and countless reasons to give thanks.

No matter what July looked like, August is another opportunity to trust the God who has never failed us. He is still writing our story, and the best chapters are still ahead.

Here's to a month filled with grace, favor, purpose, and unforgettable testimonies.

Happy New Month! May August be good to us all.

Say your personal declarations for this month in your Prayer Time , It's a wonderful 😊 Month ‼️❤️
