LADIES OF MODESTY
Story Time..
When I was a little gal, I thought growing up meant having answers to everything. I would look at older people and think, “These people have life figured out.” 😂 Little did I know that some of us would grow up and still be asking God, “Lord, what are You doing here?”
As a little gal, I drank what life served me. Some days it was joy, laughter and simple childhood dreams. Other days came with disappointments, tears and lessons I did not understand. As I grew older, the cup changed. I tasted waiting, rejection, heartbreak, loss, uncertainty and seasons where I wondered if God had forgotten my address.
But somewhere along the way, I discovered something beautiful: the Lord gives a drink that the world cannot give.
Jesus said, “Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.” John 4:14.
And now, after all these years, I understand it differently. The drink the Lord gives is not a promise that life will never be bitter. It is His grace that keeps you when life becomes bitter. It is peace when you should have fallen apart. It is strength when you have run out of your own. It is hope when the waiting has overstayed its welcome. 😂
I am no longer that little gal who thought she had life figured out. I have grown, cried, laughed, learned, unlearned and grown some more. But one thing I know: everything this world offers eventually leaves you thirsty again. Only Jesus satisfies the soul.
So if you ask me what has kept me all these years, I will tell you simply: I have been drinking from the well that never runs dry.
And honestly, I am not changing my drink order anytime soon. - Jesus Christ 🙏

LADIES OF MODESTY
This is my declarations as a Lady of Modest this week.
I declare that I am a lady who fears the Lord, walks in wisdom, carries herself with grace, and honours God in all I do. I will not be moved by pressure, comparison, or the opinions of people. My identity is in Christ.
I declare that this week, the Lord goes before me. He orders my steps, gives me wisdom, surrounds me with favour, and opens doors that align with His will for my life. I will not force what God has not ordained for me.
I declare that my future is in the hands of God. I will not fear tomorrow because my Father is already there. Every season of my life will testify of His faithfulness.
I declare concerning my future husband that God is preparing me and, in His appointed time, will bring me into a Christ centred marriage. I will not settle out of loneliness, pressure, or fear. My marriage shall honour God, and my home shall be a place of love, prayer, peace, wisdom, and godly purpose.
I declare concerning my future children that they shall be a blessing from the Lord. I pray that they will know Jesus, love His Word, walk in wisdom, and grow to fulfil the purpose God has placed upon their lives. My future home shall be a place where Christ is honoured.
I declare over my ministry that the Lord will enlarge my territory according to His will. The words I speak, the people I encourage, the prayers I make, and the work of my hands shall point people back to Jesus. My ministry will not be built on popularity but on obedience, character, prayer, and the Word of God.
I declare that the Lord will give me grace to serve faithfully in every assignment He entrusts to me. I will not despise small beginnings. I will remain faithful when nobody is watching.
I declare that my waiting season will not be wasted. God is developing my character, deepening my faith, healing my heart, and preparing me for what He has ahead.
I declare that I will walk in purity, discernment, discipline, and spiritual strength. I will recognise what is from God and have courage to walk away from what is not.
I declare that my family, career, studies, ministry, relationships, finances, and future are surrendered to the Lord. May His will be established in every area of my life.
I declare that I am becoming the lady God has called me to be. I will not rush God's process. I will trust His timing, obey His Word, and remain faithful in every season.
This week, I choose faith over fear, prayer over worry, obedience over compromise, contentment over comparison, and Christ over everything.
I am a Lady of Modest in Christ. My life belongs to Jesus, my future belongs to Jesus, and everything I become will bring glory to Him.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

LADIES OF MODESTY
Some of life’s deepest lessons are taught in chapters we never asked God to write. ❤️
I thought I was big enough to handle motherlessness. But as the years have passed, I have learned that there is no age at which losing your mom becomes easy.
Growing up, I believed my mother would always be present. I imagined her watching me grow and being there in all seasons. Then a strange illness came. She became sick, and eventually, we lost her.
Grief has taught me that life can change without warning. Some days I am okay; other days, a memory quietly reminds me of the person I wish was still here.
Last week, I met one of my lost old friend, a woman in her 60s who seemed low. When I asked what was wrong, she told me she had lost her mother the previous month. That conversation stayed with me.
It reminded me that grief does not consider your age. Because no matter how old we become, we never stop being someone's daughter.
It also reminded me of God's presence through every season. Before the loss, we may not know what is coming. In the loss, we may question why. After the loss, we may not have all the answers, but we can discover that God never left.
I share this from a place of having walked through grief with God. I have leaned on the Holy Spirit through the darkest days, and He has truly helped me. I may not understand everything God has allowed, but His faithfulness has taught me to trust Him even when I cannot explain the pain.
To anyone grieving, be gentle with yourself. You can cry and still have faith. You can miss them and still have joy. Your tears do not mean you lack faith; they mean you loved.
We may not have answers to every “why,” but we can hold on to this: God was there before it happened, He was there through it, and He is still here now.
Even in the darkest days, God is near. ❤️
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted…” Psalm 34:18

LADIES OF MODESTY
“Never underestimate what God can do with a girl who simply says YES.”
This picture takes me back to 2022 the first time I stood on an altar to minister to adults. By then, I had already served as a Sunday school teacher for 7 years and had been building Ladies of Modesty for 3 years. I had boldly asked my youth director for a chance to minister on a random youth day, and I spent two weeks preparing to speak about David the shepherd boy God chose.
That morning, my dad was so afraid for me that he wanted to take me through the sermon again. 😂 I laughed because he didn’t know that, for almost two years, I had been quietly walking a journey of consecration, prayer and preparation of the unknown 😉. I had only shared my plans with my mentor, who told me one thing: “Pray much.”
Jacinta Le Modester
Then came the moment. Standing before nearly 90–120 people, I could feel the weight of carrying God's revelation. I was scared, but I was intentional. The ministration was powerful, and I walked away knowing, “I have stepped into something.”
And the enemy noticed too. That same day, went back to my Business premises... sound system was struck by electricity, and the next morning, I woke up with no voice. 😭 It took me a week to recover.
But I learned a lesson I have never forgotten: what God builds in you secretly will eventually speak publicly. Opposition may come when you finally step into purpose, but resistance is not proof that you missed God it can be a reminder that what you carry matters.
I was just a simple girl… but I was advantaged by God. And honestly, I’m still becoming. ❤️

Trusting God in the Midst of the Storm 🌊❤️
Sometimes, trusting God is easy when everything is going well. But what happens when the storm comes? When the prayers seem unanswered, the doors are closing, and you cannot see a way forward?
That is where faith is truly tested.
The disciples once found themselves in a terrible storm while Jesus was with them in the boat. The waves were raging, but Jesus was asleep. They became afraid and cried out to Him. Jesus got up and calmed the storm.
Mark 4:39 says, “He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’”
What a reminder that the presence of a storm does not mean the absence of God. Jesus was in the boat even when the disciples could not understand what was happening.
Maybe you are in a storm right now. You may not know when it will end, but you can know Who is with you in it.
Don't let the size of your storm become bigger than your view of God. The same God who was faithful yesterday is still faithful today.
Sometimes God calms the storm around you, and sometimes He gives you peace while you are still in the middle of it. Either way, He remains in control.
So breathe. Pray. Hold onto His Word. Keep trusting.
Your storm has a limit, but God's faithfulness has no end. 🌊❤️
