Where do you prefer to watch/interact with content? With everything happening with Meta, I've created a BlueSky account and unfortunately fell in love with TikTok way too late 😅
Spent the day with my little family, on a farm, just being in nature and off tech (okay with cameras) for bird watching 🦜
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, even if it doesn’t look like what social media makes popular. I know mine didn’t! It was perfect for us though ♥️
Big things happening in 2025 and I’m wishing nothing but the best for you all!
I spent a long time debating whether or not to create a new channel and completely move on from this space but the reality is, is I have grown with this channel and just can't say goodbye!
I will have daily videos until Jan 1 and then there won't be any videos pre-2025 shared since I am so excited for what 2025 has to bring.
Thank you all for your continued support and I'm looking forward to a new year, a new start, a new era!
In 15 days I will be leaving Chile! I can't believe 9 months has gone by and this was one of the most difficult experiences I've gone through, changing careers, countries, and a 3rd language left me with some culture shock to be honest. Luckily everyone here has been incredibly kind and supportive and honestly, I think I was meant to be here for this time.
I'll keep trying to post shorts a few times a week and vlogs are being edited right now. My purely travel-based content is moving to @WanderinWunder which you can find on Instagram and Twitter at the same handle or at TikTok at wanderinwunder for travel tips and destination-specific advise.
I'll continue posting here but I am going to be settling down soon-ish (I think) and I'll be doing more lifestyle abroad content like I have been doing for the past couple of years.
It's done! I can't believe it but I am done with graduate school! I finished my last class and last assignment this afternoon. I presented my research yesterday. I am completely overwhelmed and a little scared but I know all this hard work was all worth it to being a new career in something I love.
Last field work trip of my grad school career is done! Only filmed for shorts because tbh not a good time to vlog. My group wouldn’t understand 😩
My plan right now is only to focus on my research and planning my YouTube come back! I’m so freaking excited to share life in Costa Rica and all of the amazing things. If you’ve stuck around I’m so grateful ❤️
I honestly couldn't have done better and LOVE my new queen ❤️ As always, everything is on my Instagram @miss_meganmae
This was one of the most intense competitions I've done. With Covid, a socially distanced, makeup covered masks, all the sanitizer, and temperature checks; it was so different. I'm glad I went as I made so many wonderful friends this weekend and did the best I've ever done!
I isolated for 2 weeks up to the pageant. Now I'm isolating again for 2 weeks before school started.
I really debating going to this for weeks because of everything going in the world and personally for me. It honestly couldn't have been at a worse time BUT I went for me (and because we'll, no refunds 😂). I was as safe as I could be and take keeping others safe seriously. My directors followed every local guideline and more for the pageant.
I wish I could have made a post about how awesome I feel, how lucky I feel, how loved I feel and all of the amazing things about pageantry but social media (especially this YouTube idk why) isn't the kindest. I understand that many will disagree with my competing but as someone who has worked daily on planes and worked through the pandemic I honestly felt safer at this pageant because of the guidelines we followed.
