This film follows Amanda’s life after being wrongly imprisoned in Italy for the murder of her roommate and her courageous decision to return to Italy to confront the prosecutor whose actions helped send her to prison. It’s not just about what happened to her — it’s about what comes after: how you reclaim your life, your voice, and your humanity after unimaginable trauma.

I’m especially proud to share this project because I served as the editor, and I’ve been working on this film for nearly two years. It’s been an intense, emotional, and deeply meaningful journey. I’m incredibly proud of this film, of the collaboration with writer/director Chris Robinson, the entire production team, and of course, Amanda, whose honesty and courage are at the heart of this story.

At its core, Mouth of the Wolf is a film about redemption, forgiveness, and the long road to recovery after trauma. It asks difficult questions and doesn’t offer easy answers — but it’s exactly the kind of story I believe needs to be told.

I hope you’ll watch when it premieres on Hulu and, if you’re local, join us at the Neptune Theater for a powerful screening and conversation with Amanda.
