NCC Directorate Maharashtra’s Pune to Delhi Cycle Expedition ‘Shaurya Ke Kadam, Kranti Ki Ore’.
26 December 25, on Day 3 of the expedition the Cycle Expedition ‘Shaurya Ke Kadam, Krant ki Ore' moved from Sangamner to Manmad covering 104 km. Manmad served as an important movement and supply corridor and vital strategic link for the Maratha cavalry during Peshwa Bajirao's Delhi campaign. It is a crucial Railway Hub now. Hundreds of NCC Cdts formed part of Local NCC Cycle and Padyatra Teams to usher in the Expedition and presented a vibrant Cultural Programme reflecting upon the rich culture & heritage of the region. Veer Naris and Ex-servicemen were honoured during the event. The expedition team made its Audio Video Presentation and performed Nukkad Natak showcasing the Delhi campaign of Peshwa Bajirao 1 which was witnessed by youth & local populace including civil administration.
