Hello everyone, I've been thinking for a while, and I've decided that I need to take a step back from streaming for a little while. Even though it's only around four hours a week, I need every hour I can get to focus on my classes and my overall mental health (thanks, calculus).
This year has been great on YouTube, but my personal life hasn’t been the greatest. While I may be stepping away from streaming, I’ll still be working on content. I plan to create shorts for my return and some other projects I’m not ready to reveal just yet. I might also stream for special events (like a Fortnite live event).
Initially, I was aiming to reach monetization by the end of the year, but that might not be possible now with my decision to take this break. If you'd like to help me get as close as possible to that goal, I have a playlist named “Caseed Uploads” that contains all my content. You can go through there and get caught up on anything that you have not watched yet and desire to.
My semester ends on December 18th, and that’s when I plan to return. It might not be exactly that day, but it’ll be around then. Thank you all for your support this year, we surpassed my goal of 1K subscribers and we even hit 1.1K within a few months of reaching that milestone. When I come back, I have many untouched games on Steam that I’m excited to stream, and being on break will allow me to do that more often than I have been.

Where I’ve been.
Hey y’all, I haven’t streamed in a while, and I wanted to let you know what’s going on. You guys may have noticed that I would get a bit angry in my most recent streams (particularly the pizza tower streams) and it’s because I’ve been having issues with my medication and it started having side effects such as high irritability, so I had to switch things up with it, but I’m pretty sure I found what works right for me. I wanted to take a bit of time to step back and make sure my new medication didn’t over stress me the way my old one did or worse.
I’ve also have been contemplating switching things up for the channel. Maybe more videos, but less streams? Maybe non-gaming videos and gaming streams? Make videos just of whatever topics I want (edited with high quality, of course). But I’m not sure, I just seem kinda stuck. I’ve been managing to work on shorts and improving their quality, but I have a higher expectation for myself when it comes to delivering content to you guys, and just shorts is not going to cut it in my opinion.
As for right now, I am currently on vacation until the end of July. I’m going to take some time during my trip to try and figure out what direction I want to take the channel moving forward—and for anyone wondering, no, quitting the channel is not on the table of possibilities.—I have shorts scheduled to release every day during my trip, and I will try to stream the day I get back. Thank y’all per usual for your patience and understanding.
