My Tarot in Practice series was one my the things I was most proud of on my channel. It’s so cool to hear that others appreciated it, and even cooler to see videos like this pop up! If you’re looking for some in depth, thoughtful, personal tarot exploration, check this lovely video out! 💕 ‪@tangytarot‬

CW: SUICIDE
During this sad and difficult time, please keep in mind that suicide stigma AND suicide romanticism are equally harmful and potentially dangerous.
Please remember that discussions about the method of suicide are dangerous. Suicide contagion is a real issue. Avoid glamorising (saying things like ‘she’s free/in a better place’). At times like these, there is a delicate but important line between discussing suicide prevention and reinforcing societal guilt and shame.
While Poppy’s videos are heartfelt and genuine contemplations on some of the reasons some people end their lives, please think carefully before sharing these videos. They contain content that could potentially be triggering and harmful to people who identify with elements of Poppy’s experience.
What we can and should do, is support each other in any grief we are feeling. We should celebrate Poppy’s life and her work. We should be honest about her death and avoid euphemisms.
But please be careful how you go about these things. Take care of yourself and each other when navigating these conversations. Be conscious of the language you’re using and how it may impact people who have been or who are currently suicidal, and others who have lost loved ones to suicide.
Here is a great resource for communities who have lost someone to suicide. If you plan to engage in conversations online about Poppy’s death, please take the time to read this (or another similar resource) to ensure the conversations can be safe and healing.

There are more resources about navigating conversations and community in the wake of a suicide. everymind.org.au/resources/conversations-matter-co…
And if you are feeling triggered by this event or any of the conversations that may be happening in our community at the moment, please remember you can step away. Not engaging does not mean that you don’t care. Taking care of yourself and staying safe are the priority. Please engage your support networks, and reach out to the suicide prevention line in your country, which you should be able to find here: blog.opencounseling.com/suicide-hotlines/

It’s National Reconciliation Week here in Australia, so here’s my top 10 recommendations for book by Aboriginal and Indigenous Australian authors. I hope you find a book (or three!) to add to your TBR!

Hi friends,
Blair and I are home! I’m still not well, but I wanted to put together this little reading vlog of our time in the Bay. Check it out if you’d like to see some highlights and what I read while I was away!
Thanks as always for your love and support, and for all of the kind comments over the past couple of weeks. You’re very much appreciated. 🥰

It’s been a really rough couple of weeks, but I got to spend today with this special man, Olly the toy poodle, and my wonderful Pop. Today was all about enjoying the moments we get with the people we love, and it was beautiful.
We’ll be back in Melbourne next week, so hopefully I’ll have some more content for you soon. In the meantime, please enjoy these adorable photos we snapped today.
Much love,
Katey xx

Hello friends,
Blair and I have tested positive for covid while on our family trip. We’re doing okay and isolating together away from the rest of my family while we recover.
We have decided to stay an extra week here to spend time with my grandparents once we’re better and testing negative. That does mean that there will be a week or two with no new content from me. I still have one more video to go up on each channel - a requested video on this channel tomorrow, and a Brandon Sanderson reading vlog on @Katey One More Time on Tuesday. But after that I’m out of pre scheduled content until we get back to Melbourne!
Just wanted to keep you all in the loop. I appreciate your understanding and support on the videos so far, and I hope you enjoy the next two, as well.
See you all again soon 💕

Hi friends,
I'm going away with family for a couple of weeks, but before I do, I'm hoping to get a couple of videos ready to go up while I'm away. So, my question to you is, do you have any requests?! Any tags or videos you'd like to see from me? Let me know in the comments below! TIA!
I do have another Tarot In Practice episode almost complete. I'm hoping to get that one out to you soonish, so keep an eye out for that too! ;) xx

Hello friends, I don't have any fancy words today... But I do know that I have a handful of Ukrainian followers (both in Ukraine and members of the diaspora), and I want to express my unwavering support and solidarity with you all at this time. I hope you and your families remain safe.
For people in Australia looking for ways to help, here are some options to get you started. www.theguardian.com/world/2022/feb/25/how-can-aust…
There have already been many protests against Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and picketing at Russian embassies, and I'm sure there will be more in the coming days and weeks. Please attend if you're able to.
