A choice was made, and hearts went dry.
Eyes were opened, shame took flight,
Darkness swallowed Eden’s light.
Yet even there, God’s love remained,
A promise whispered through the pain:
A Seed would crush the serpent’s head,
And hope would rise where tears were shed. ✨

Blood was spilled by jealous hand.
Sin had crouched and gained its way,
Darkness tried to rule the day.
Yet even then, God’s voice was near,
Speaking truth, yet guarding clear.
A mark of mercy, grace to give,
Though Cain had sinned—he yet could live.
Forgiveness flows, though hearts may fall,
God’s mercy still outshines it all.
When guilt weighs heavy, hope seems gone,
His grace endures, His love lives on. ✨
