Genesis Chapter 20 is a reminder that even when people fail, God still protects His promises. đź‘€
Abraham falls back into fear, Sarah is taken into a king’s house, and God intervenes before everything goes wrong. This chapter has tension, conviction, protection, and a powerful lesson about trust.
✨ Have you ever struggled with repeating the same mistakes even after growing in faith?

In Genesis 19:26, we see one of the most haunting sentences in the Bible: "But Lot’s wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt."
It wasn't just a quick glance over her shoulder. The Hebrew implies she gazed or longed for what was being destroyed. She was physically escaping, but her heart was still in the city.
3 Lessons from the Pillar of Salt:
The Danger of Lingering: Lot and his family hesitated even when the angels warned them. Sometimes, God has to "grab our hand" to move us out of a toxic situation.
Divided Loyalty: You can’t move toward a new future if you’re still reaching for a sinful past.
Mercy has a Limit: God provided the way out, the warning, and the strength to leave. The judgment wasn't the tragedy—the refusal to leave it behind was.
