Episode 6 of Dragon Ball Classic Abridged is very much nearing completion. No word just yet. But hoping this week I will FINALLY be able to show off some of what we have been working on!
I'll also be streaming! We're still gonna play control, but we're also gonna be mixing some things up with some SpOoOoKy Games sprinkled in!
Lot's of progress got made this last week on DBCA! Today I will *hopefully* be wrapping up sound design and get to scoring! There's still some custom art to be made, and last minute things to record! But the episode is getting dangerously close to being finished, while I wait for stuff, I'll be locking in to hone in every aspect of this episode!
Im back for real! Which means with the exception of unforseen illness or home malfunctions, heres this weeks Dragon Ball Classic Abridged update, and stream schedule!
As for DBCA, I'm going to take today to finish lip flaps, and get started on my first sound pass! I know that's an underwhelming update but its all I got, time to grind.
As for streams! (All times EST)
Tuesday - 2PM: Pony Island (First Time Playthrough)
Ive been home for less than a week, and I'm immediately leaving again!
BUT I have some updates. As of writing this I am past the halfway point on lip syncing for episode 6 of Dragon Ball Classic Abridged. I'm hoping to get very close, if not finish lip sync before I leave again! (Im hoping ill have some stuff to share with all of you, as well as our paid members and patrons very soon)
I also WILL be streaming! (I was going to stream today but I'm feeling a bit under the weather. New playthrough next week!)
Not much in way of Dragon Ball Abridged updates today, I'm traveling home from my trip!
I plan to catch up on some work once I'm home, SO I don't plan to schedule any streams. But if I need a break from working I will probably play some Sparking! ZERO or something!
Except for the Nintendo Direct on Wednesday at 10am EST!
I said likely no update or streams this week but I LIED. (Kinda) So heres your Dragon Ball Classic Abridged update!
All of the dialogue has been recorded, and plugged into the storyboard. I have a lot of work to do as far as cleaning up pacing, and diving into lip flaps. Which I unfortunately will NOT be able to get very deep on until next week.
I did WANT to stream today, but my AC crapped out last night and I am baking alive. So I'm just going to take the time I would have to stream, to sit in the dark and work on the show.
Your DBCA update for the week is that good progress is still being made. Im locking in before I have to travel for a wedding next week! So ill be plugging in everything we have recorded and ill be starting on lip flaps! (Note: we recorded for Roshi last night. It went VERY well.)
Ill also be streaming a couple times! (All times EST)
Tuesday - 1PM: Sparking! Zero - Krillin Episode Battle
Thursday - 1PM: Sparking! ZERO - Cell Episode Battle
And thats it! Probably no update next week, at least nothing too substantial (and no streams) see ya!
IM BACK! Which means its time to play catch up. This week for DBCA news, were gonna do some recording and im gonna start on mixing & lining up dialgoue, then onto lip syncing! Hooray!
We also broke 12,000 not days after hitting 10k. Which is also so insane! I have a few fun things planned for these milestones. 1. I am going to record part 3 of my long forgotten series "Drunken Ball Z" where in I get *heavily* intoxicated and recite each arc of DBZ by memory! (This will not effect production on DBCA...but it may take me a while to get it made) I would also like to do a watch party of all of our existing episodes with some of our cast members/writers, but I have yet to coordinate any of that. Thanks again for all the support
IM ALSO STREAMING (all times est)
TODAY - 8PM: Behind the Balls Episode 5
Wednesday - 2PM: Sparking! ZERO: Tien Episode Battle
