🚨 A Call to the Gaming Community: The Future of Board Game Maniacs 🚨

Hey everyone, Maniac Rob here.

Over 7 years ago, I started Board Game Maniacs with a simple mission: to share my love for tabletop gaming, dive into various rule sets, and show anyone interested exactly how different titles play out on the table. We never forced ourselves into a strict system or a single gaming niche—we just played what we loved and brought you along for the ride.

Looking back, this journey has been incredibly educational, deeply valuable, and an absolute blast for myself, our subscribers, and the wider gaming community.

But today, I need to ask for your assistance.

Right now, the channel is at a major crossroads. We have grown to over 1,770 subscribers, but to make this channel truly sustainable and unlock full YouTube monetization, our analytics and watch hours need a significant boost. Because of this, our current Zombicide 2nd Edition gameplay series is going to determine the future of Board Game Maniacs.

Mission M1 is already live on the channel right now. Missions M2 through M4 will be dropping every single Saturday at 9:00 AM CST.

This series is our final, concentrated effort to see if we can get our channel numbers up to a healthy level. The performance of these videos will help me make a tough decision:

Do we keep pushing forward with Zombicide 2nd Edition and other gameplay videos on a regular, consistent release schedule?

Or is it time to step back, halt regular production, and only upload new content on rare occasions?

How you can help right now:
I am calling on the gaming community to take a look at the channel. Check out the videos, see the passion we put into these games, and decide if our content is worth a subscription and your watch time. Your views, shares, and subscriptions over the next few weeks will directly decide which path we take.

Please note: If the numbers tell us it's time to stop regular updates, we will NOT close down the channel. The years of content we've built together will remain online forever so the gaming community can always view and enjoy them. It simply means new uploads will become a rare sight.

Since the popularity of my painted miniatures, and the requests for how I painted them, I have constructed a simple visual guide as to how I achieve the basic painted look. This is not written in stone, nor is it the ultimate way of painting the #zombies miniatures, but this is how I approach painting miniatures that need to have a basic, fast paint jobs to get them on the table for some game play. Greetings all. First off I want to thank everyone on here for being soo responsive to my posts of painting my 2nd edition minis. Our You Tube gaming channel has been inactive for a while now because I had moved and to simply put it, I had lost all motivation and inspiration to make any content. I do appreciate everyone on this page and all your awesomeness. Having said that, with my new found motivation, I will be starting to record loads of content related to #zombicide 2nd edition and its expansions. At this time, I would love to hear everyone's ideas on what type of Zombicide content that would appeal to you. Is it game play? painting tutorials, terrain builds, chronicle game play?

Great News! We have finally found our new studio and started construction on it. It is a slow grind but its a grind that means that things are finally starting to happen for us here at BoardGameManiacs. With all Hallows Eve just around the corner, I just had to create something even tho the lack of space to record a proper video.
