This Japanese tray (no idea what it's made of...) was something that my grandmother purchased back in the 60's and my mother used as a cake plate for decades. Lots of memories of delicious cakes on this platter. As it doesn't fit with anything we own today, it's been sitting in my office waiting for a new lease on life.
Check out the latest video for what went into this simple, yet very meaningful build.
It's that time of year when we're not making any turkey in a turkey roaster oven, but we are making bread in a turkey roaster oven. Still floors me how well this works!

To think that basic fires were what heated us for millennia. Now, we buy little flimsy metal fire pits and make smores outside when the weather is nice. Oh, how far we have come.
I have a whole new video in the edit suite right now. If you’ve been following my shorts, you may have already figured out what it’s about. It might drop sometime in the next few weeks. But then again, maybe it will be longer. We shall see.

Latest video features this cabinet in building for the shop. I’ve never built cabinets before, so I genuinely don’t know what I’m doing.
