Hey folks! This week's video is going to be the Create-A-Sim Q&A video I promised a little while back; we'll be doing the makeovers for our twins Celeste & Edward who just aged up to teens in the last episode.

I have the next UDC episode pre-recorded to avoid any hiccups with the recent patch and upcoming release of Royalty & Legacy but I don't want to play too far ahead, so in the meantime I've been working on building a Regency save file for a little mini-series I'd like to do. Is that something you guys would be interested in watching?

I don't want to affect the UDC schedule too much, so it would be a short series of around 6-7 episodes I'd sprinkle in between our regular episodes. The screenshots are of some of the characters we'd meet and play in the series, do let me know your thoughts!

Hey folks! A new episode will be out on Saturday and we'll get to meet the royal family for the first time. Of course, things don't entirely go according to plan, but what else is new? We also get some new arrivals in our main household, just in time to celebrate our twins' birthday!

Hey folks! The decade recap for the 1330s is coming next Saturday, thought some of you might enjoy some stats from this decade:

There were 44 births and 19 deaths, compared to 29 births and 12 deaths in the previous decade.

Not counting sims who were spared by Grim, our deadliest years were 1335 and 1336 with 4 deaths each, but the record remains 1316 which saw 5 deaths during the Great Famine.

We end the decade with 78 played sims, compared to 44 in the previous decade, and 20 in the one before that. They are split across 14 family names: Barrow, Baker, Atwood, Verviers, Townsend, Fischer, de l’Orme, Pasquier, Graves, Lorimer, Law, Rochefort, Essby, Helvig. We currently have 2 adults, 23 young adults, 14 teens, 21 children, 14 toddlers and 4 infants.

Our oldest sim is Rosemary Barrow at 55 years old, but she is a first generation sim who did not do any death rolls prior to teenhood. The oldest sim born in our legacy is Stefanie Townsend at 38 years of age.

Our youngest sim is Roslyn Law, who was born at the end of 1339.

The average age at death is 10 years old if we count spouses (who did not do any birthday rolls prior to joining the family). If we omit spouses, the average age at death drops to 4.2 years old, which is 0.9 year younger than the previous decade 💀

Only about 56% of sims born in our family (i.e. not counting spouses) make it past the age of 5. So far only 17% have made it past the age of 21.

Hope you are all looking forward to another exciting decade! We certainly have some “fun” events lined up, such as the next phase of the 100 years war, and the highly anticipated (not really) Black Plague.

Hey folks! Hope you all had an enjoyable summer (or winter!) and are getting ready for the upcoming spooky season~

Just wanted to let you all know I'll be posting biweekly again for the near future--baby girl is crushing those milestones and now prefers playing to sleeping, so I have precious little free time, not to mention sleep! I'm currently editing the last two episodes of the decade, and then I'll be putting together the decade recap for the 1330s (already?!) which is always a lengthy endeavour and will require the extra time 🫣

Hi folks! Hope you are all enjoying the summer weather (or winter weather!) and staying safe.

I had a bit of extra time to work on the UDC this week so you'll be getting weekly videos for a little while!

I have three episodes recorded and currently being edited, so I thought I'd share a little sneak peek of what's to come. We're getting a war camp tour in the next episode, and then our heir is being sent for an apprenticeship with his uncle Noah. We're also going to have a whole episode playing as Khalil because the little bugger threw me quite the curveball after I sent him and his brother to get to know some potential spouses...

Oh, and Alexander had his final baby as well. Bets are open, do you think it's a girl or a boy? 🤭
