Pumping Records is an exciting new record label based out of Newcastle Australia, with a passion for promoting local talent.

Newcastle is known for its rich history when it comes to music. Not only was it the birthplace of bands like The Screaming Jets & Silverchair, but many years ago big named Aussie bands would tour here under fake aliases to test out new music because Newcastle always had an unforgiving crowd.

When it comes to Dance Music, however, the town is yet to make its mark. So, it has become a passion project for creator George Petridis (who has been a part of the dance music scene in Newcastle for the past 20+ years) to provide a platform for local dance music artists to shine not only in their hometown but also on a much bigger stage, across the country and around the world.
