Went with an olive background, next is get my skincolors ready on the pallette. Have to do a midtone highlight and shadow color for every tone. Have to have them mixed b4 u start u aren't suppose to do it on the fly. When they're mixed they're easier to place and want Vaules to be right.
Getting some practice sketches out b4 I shoot for the first oil portrait.. Colors in my pencils were running out, have to grab a pack and some extras just in case..
3 commissions I have to finish by the end of the weekend. Ons don't varnished and framed, an other just needs details & shadows everything's blocked in and finally a swarm of butterflies.
