My name is Terie. I have many interests that I share here. I have shared photos of my furbabies. Yes, they are family too.
I like to repair and restore vintage sewing machine. It is nice to grab a wreck of a machine and restore it and keep it out of the landfill. I am so happy when someone adopts one of my machines and puts it back into use.
I also love to sew. I originally started with clothing, then more recently, moved onto bagmaking and then quilting.
Now my new love it hydroponics. I did have a set up years ago and I moved away from it. Now, I am excited to be growing again, especially my own herbs and salad greens.

I have some devastating news to share. No way to say it but ... My sweet, adorable, spicy little Queen Daughter, Nala, got her wings last week. I have been finding it hard to breath.
Nala was an angel sent by an angel. My home is once again a lonely place. Nala was having difficulty with her front legs. As You know she was already struggling with her hind legs and was doing so well with her therapy and her sling. Now, she could no longer rely on her front legs. Being blind and completely deaf was also a struggle for her. She wanted me to hold her all day and night as she must have felt very alone in there in her world.
So despite what my head was saying, my heart was saying Princess Nala wanted to go running over the rainbow bridge. She is there now I hope, where she found her sister Zeva and is looking for Sebastian to harass him.
No words will make this feel better. I appreciate all of you embracing her as I did. I know many of you can relate and I am sorry for your losses as well. They are like our children who never grow up.
Nala turned 16 on January 3 and crossed the bridge on the 8th.
You did good sweet girl. Momma misses you as do many of your family and friends from around the world.
