This is a classy way to expose how we are exactly like our enemies. 🙃

Jesus was the only blameless one, in the den of vipers, lions, tigers, bears… all the “oh mys!” He was truly pure.

We aren’t.

Offenses also expose how we would treat others the same way- had it not been for Christ. We bear His reproach because it builds confidence in our identity being saved. ✝️🔥🙌🏽

A free gift we neverrrrrrr deserved.

1 Corinthians 14:34-35 (NKJV)- “Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church.”

Let’s Talk About It 🧐✝️

Paul is speaking to married women not just women. When a married woman is trying to lead, she is not making team decisions based on the ordinance of that marriage structure. God’s law and expectations of a married couple. If the man belongs to God, there’s no need to hypothetically suggest and imply he is abusive or will by any mean harm and demean her. He will be like Christ and sometimes women take men for granted like this when they are under seducing spirits. Paul was not just speaking culturally but to the unclean spirits of that kind of environment and the influencers. Their example of functional harmony in the body of Christ at that church. Therefore a woman who just leads and usurps authority to exercise over other people, is in the wrong spirit. Not God’s spirit. Paul was simply speaking specifically to a specific group of people messing up. It needs to get called out, sin. It’s a type of spiritual experience women are tempted by because Satan wants access to that creative energy.

It would’ve better a woman sit down and shush if she not going to even be submissive to God’s words. 🤷🏽‍♀️
