Hey, I just want to tell you—please don’t keep apologizing to me. What happened wasn’t all your mistake; half of it was mine too. I should have talked to you about it, but I didn’t. I’m really, truly sorry for all my mistakes. I left you when you needed someone the most. I was angry at that time, but from the bottom of my heart, I’m sorry for making you feel ignored. I never wanted to, but I also didn’t want to disturb you, so I tried to distance myself.

I don’t know why, but whenever I get hurt, I go silent. Back then, I was going through a lot and didn’t know what to do or say. Everyone seemed to hate me for every little thing. Later, I realized my mistakes and tried to correct them, but it was too late. Maybe if I had never talked to that other girl, none of this would have happened and you’d still be with me.

Never think that I hated you—it’s impossible for me to hate you. I might have hesitated around you, but that was only because I never imagined life would turn out this way. But it’s okay now. We have a long journey ahead, with so much to achieve. We need to be strong and learn to let go because people come and go, and if we get depressed over every little thing, we can’t grow stronger.

May you have a best friend who treats you the way you deserve, someone who never ignores you because of anyone else. I’ll never forget you. You’re one of the best parts of my life.
