Carlos Celestin, professionally known as Tikawo Trafik, is a dynamic and influential figure in the Haitian music industry. Born on October 23, 1999, in Kenscoff, Haiti, Tikawo’s music journey began under the stage name Real-I, a moniker he used in the early stages of his career.
His breakthrough came with the release of the hit single Oh Yeah, a collaborative effort with Trafik Mizik and G-Shytt. The song’s overwhelming success became a pivotal moment in his career. Notably, his verse in the track began with the iconic line: “Tikawo Tikawo nou fè Karelaj.” Fans quickly embraced the catchy phrase, prompting Carlos to adopt Tikawo as his new stage name. The rest of the phrase became his signature slogan, solidifying his unique identity in the music scene.
