In May 2018 something unexpected happened to me. A quick rewind: I was a 3rd Generation Jehovah's Witness. I was a true believer. I was told Armageddon would arrive before I ever graduated from High School. That was 21 years ago (1998). All major life decisions revolved around the JW religion. I went door to door every week, my only friends were JWs, and I judged everybody else as "worldly." I had "The Truth."

But then I started seeing cracks in "The Truth." I started to question everything I had ever been taught in that religious bubble and the result was a "local needs talk" at my Kingdom Hall in May 2018. It was a "marking talk." The congregation was being put on high alert that there was an "APOSTATE" in their midst and the shunning should begin. No elder had even called me to tell me that I was an apostate!
