HOW TO BRAID YOUR HAIR WITHOUT A MIRROR

If you want to cast your phone screen to a TV, the steps depend on whether you have an iPhone or Android and whether your TV supports AirPlay, Chromecast, or Miracast.

If you have an iPhone

To an Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible smart TV:

1. Make sure your iPhone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open Control Center:
* On Face ID iPhones: swipe down from the top-right corner.
* On Home Button iPhones: swipe up from the bottom.
3. Tap Screen Mirroring.
4. Select your TV.
5. Enter the AirPlay code shown on the TV if prompted.

If you have an Android phone

To a Chromecast or Google TV:

1. Connect your phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi.
2. Open the Google Home app.
3. Select your Chromecast or TV.
4. Tap Cast my screen > Cast screen.

To a Miracast-compatible TV:

1. Swipe down to open Quick Settings.
2. Tap Cast, Smart View, Screen Share, or Wireless Display (the name varies by phone).
3. Select your TV.

If your TV doesn’t support wireless casting

You can use an HDMI adapter:

* iPhone: Apple Lightning-to-HDMI adapter (or USB-C to HDMI adapter for newer iPhones).
* Android: USB-C to HDMI adapter (if your phone supports video output).

Having trouble?

* Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
* Turn Bluetooth on (some TVs use it during pairing).
* Restart both your phone and TV if the TV doesn’t appear.
* Ensure screen mirroring or AirPlay is enabled in your TV’s settings.
