We noticed something with the last few uploads: each video we used the A/B Testing feature on received significantly less views than our typical videos. The tests also showed negligible differences between thumbnails, so it was not particularly useful for us.

We decided to stop A/B Testing with the Bananza video and it had an average performance, which was better than the last 4 videos (again, all of which we used A/B testing on).

Obviously, 5 videos is not a sufficient sample size so, we wanted to know if any other creators noticed this.

Edit: The AB testing feature allows creators to try different thumbnails and/or titles on videos to see which one people click on. For this channel, I keep the same title, but I have tried designing and testing two different thumbnails to see which stood out more.

2025 has been a difficult, painful year for us in many ways. I've been chipping away at the second episode of The Fruitless Quests of Nabiu every chance I get but those days have been few and far between due to multiple life-changing losses in our family. I am grateful to have a patient, supportive community behind my work because without you all I wouldn't have been able to be there for my family in the way I am now.

We are not out of the woods yet, but I want to share the poster for episode 2 with you all. Thanks again!
