💛 Caring for an adult with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) is a full-time act of love — but it can also be exhausting. Every caregiver deserves a moment to rest, breathe, and recharge.

That’s where The Respite Center steps in. A place where IDD adults spend the day connecting with friends, making crafts, playing games, singing karaoke, and dancing the day away — while their parents or guardians take a well-earned break (and maybe even finish that cup of coffee ☕).

In the small seaside town of Anacortes, WA, The Salvation Army has partnered with Cascadia Clubhouse to create something beautiful: a space filled with care, connection, and joy for IDD adults and their families.

Because when we care for each other, everyone wins.💃🕺 Let’s dance!
