आज आपका पचासवाँ जन्मदिन है—आधी सदी का सफ़र… आपकी मुस्कुराहटों, संघर्षों, त्यागों, सपनों और अनगिनत अनसुनी कहानियों का सफ़र। और न जाने क्यों, आज मेरी नज़रें आपको सिर्फ माँ की तरह नहीं, बल्कि एक इंसान की तरह भी देख रही हैं—एक ऐसी स्त्री जो अपने भीतर कितनी आंधियाँ, कितने तूफ़ान और कितनी खामोशियाँ लिए चलती रही, पर बाहर हमेशा मेरे लिए सिर्फ प्यार ही निकलता रहा।
माँ, मैं जानती हूँ कि आपने मेरे लिए कितनी बार अपने सपने छोटे किए। कितनी रातें मेरे बुखार, मेरे डर, मेरे आँसू, मेरी जिद में काटी होंगी। और शायद ही मैंने कभी आपको ढंग से "धन्यवाद" कहा हो। सच कहूँ तो, मुझे तो ‘धन्यवाद’ शब्द भी छोटा लगता है—आपके प्रेम के सामने यह कुछ नहीं।
आप मेरी माँ ही नहीं, मेरी पहली दोस्त, पहली शिक्षक, पहला सहारा और मेरी पहली दुनिया हैं। जब भी जीवन ने मुझे थकाया है, आपकी गोद ही मेरा घर बनी है। जब भी मैं टूटी हूँ, आपके हाथों का स्पर्श मेरे लिए दवा बन गया है। और जब भी मैं हँसी हूँ, उसमें आपकी हँसी शामिल रही है।
माँ, आज मैं आपको एक वादा करना चाहती हूँ—अब आपकी बाकी ज़िंदगी, आपके हिस्से के सपने, आपकी खुशियाँ… मैं हमेशा आपका हाथ पकड़कर आपके साथ चलूँगी। आपने मेरे लिए बहुत जिया है। अब मैं चाहती हूँ कि आप अपने लिए भी जिएँ।
पचास साल की यह उम्र किसी खामोशी की नहीं, बल्कि नई शुरुआतों की उम्र है। आपका हर आने वाला साल पिछले सभी सालों से ज़्यादा सुंदर हो—इसी की दुआ, आपकी उसी बेटी से, जिसे दुनिया में सबसे ज़्यादा आप पर गर्व है।

We found out 8 months ago that my 11 year old baby (Honey) has a tumor. After initial treatment she has now started chemotherapy. Please pray for her.🙏🏻😔
