Sylvia's Chinese
A walk through time, wrapped in silk and memories.
The qipao (also known as cheongsam) is more than just a dress — it’s a symbol of elegance rooted in Chinese history.
Originating in the 1920s Shanghai, the qipao reflects both tradition and modern femininity.
Wearing it with my best friend made me feel connected to something timeless.
Have you ever worn clothing that made you feel part of history?

🎄**Merry Christmas, my dear followers!**🎄
Do you know why many Chinese people eat apples on Christmas Eve? In Chinese, Christmas Eve is called 平安夜 (píng’ān yè), which means “Silent Night” or “Peaceful Night.” The word 平安 (píng’ān) means “peace” or “safety.” Since the word for apple (苹果 píngguǒ) sounds similar to 平安 (píng’ān), apples have become a popular gift to wish others peace and safety on this special night. 🍎✨
Here are two photos of apples with beautiful messages printed on them—symbols of peace and goodwill.
Wishing all of you a peaceful Christmas Eve and a joyful holiday season! 🌟⛄️❄️

Sylvia's Chinese
It's been a month since I posted my first video on YouTube. 260 subscriptions, better than I thought.
Thanks to you everyone who watch and subscribe to my channel, you give me the motivation to keep making videos. 🙏Unfortunately, on the third day after I uploaded my first video, I got really sick and have been taking medicine to relieve the pain.
But I believe this is a test from God.
There is an old Chinese saying:
“天将降大任于斯人也,必先苦其心志,劳其筋骨,饿其体肤,空乏其身,行佛乱其所为,所以动心忍性,增益其所不能。”
Means:
"Heaven is about to bestow a great responsibility upon this individual. It is necessary to first toughen his will, labor his muscles and bones, starve his skin, deprive his body, disrupt his activities, so as to stimulate his mind, endure his nature, and enhance what he lacks."
With this strong will, I will make more useful videos for you in the future.
Thank you all again❤️
