Earlier this evening, I saw Elio with my girlfriend. A 10/10 movie. It was good and emotional. It is one of the best modern Pixar movies to date besides Inside Out 2. Any families who have military veterans in their lives CAN relate to this sci-fi film. I also got the Disney Store Elio plush from my girlfriend, too.
Just got back from seeing the Minecraft movie. 10/10 for me. This movie was funny and fun. There were a lot of references to the game and the nice tribute to that one YouTuber who died. (May he Rest In Peace 🙏) Garrett was a moron, but at least he saved Henry. I'm not that much of a knowledgeable person when it comes to the game. But I was pointing out some stuff I knew. Enderman is my all-time favorite minecraft character, and I was excited when I saw him on screen. I'm glad there was no comeuppance to the Chicken Jockey scene. That scene was mild brutal but decent. The villager with the principle was a little cringy. But I'm happy that Alex is coming in the sequel after this post credit scene.
Just watched the new Snow White movie. 10/10. The movie felt like a 2 hour long film. But it wasn't. Some of the new songs were fine, but not great, but good. The CGI for the dwarfs and animals were great and adorable. Even though it was different and expanded from the original 1937 classic, this one was still lovely.
