I thought I had a post scheduled but apparently it didn't save... well, I guess it's now a trend of me being late to H:PII anniversary stuff lmao

Anyway, Hawaii: Part II is effectively the reason I made this channel to begin with, so it obviously holds a very special place in my heart. I think it might also genuinely be the album that got me into listening to albums as whole experiences (as opposed to singular tracks) (as pretentious as that may sound lol).

I unfortunately wasn't able to put together a special upload for 12/12 but I've been pretty busy with school & stuff, but still. Happy anniversary to Hawaii: Part II :D

You know how i said there'd be daily uploads from the 15th to the 25th? well uh. unfortunately it seems the upload i intended for the 25th isn't going to be able to be finished in time, so apologies about that. I'll still try to get it done by the end of the month, but in exchange here's a purely hypothetical question...

If I were to (hypothetically) remaster a past cover album, would you be ok with a revamped track list? (...more than 5 songs changed from the original tracklist)

Another post so soon after the last? What a miracle.

Self-deprecating humor aside, be ready for a return to classic praisedrays content coming soon. It was nice to return to the barebones style I used to have last year. It's fitting too since most of these are going to be archival uploads, as in songs I've had done for months that I haven't gotten around to uploading yet. It'll be like the Miscellaneous Covers from around July of this year.

Oh also, I almost forgot to mention... they're gonna be daily uploads from the 15th until the 25th. Happy November everyone! :D

Happy spooky day of the spooky season!!!! It's been a minute since my last post, huh?

So... I've actually been working on a Halloween special EP but I evidently haven't been able to get it done in time for midnight on Halloween (mainly because of the visuals taking a while, both creating designs and using ZGameEditor) BUT don't worry, I should have it out at some point at least on the 31st in my timezone! ...hopefully! (I am actually really proud of how it's turned out so far, especially tracks 3, 5, and 6 >:3)

In other news, expect some housekeeping uploads this November! I'm finally going to get around to making individual uploads for some albums I never did them for. Will there be fully new songs? Maybe. Don't hold your breath on it but if it does happen it'll be a nice surprise. It'll also 100% be standalone uploads, not for big projects or anything. (This Halloween EP was meant to be more relaxing and turned out to include 2 of the most detailed songs I've covered in a while lmao.)

So...... originally, that album i teased last week was supposed to release at 9am this morning (which was just over 8 hours ago), but due to some unforeseen circumstances, i wasnt able to finish the video in time

by "unforeseen circumstances" i mean struggling to use FL Studio's video editor for a while (mainly figuring out how the text even worked), the audio taking a while to export, and the video itself taking 7 HOURS to export, and i didnt even try uploading it to youtube cause the entire second half of the export was messed up (plus it wouldve taken a really long time to upload) :(

that being said. the music itself is actually fully done, and im pretty sure ill have the time now, so come back later and it should be ready then. (date tbd, its still kinda being difficult lol)

I apologize for the general radio silence for the past 2 months or so on here, I've been pretty busy toiling away at a little project for pretty much all that time. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be releasing anything from it before it's done and releases in its entirety, but rest assured it's coming along quite nicely, even if there aren't any uploads lol

I know I'm a little late to this, but happy pride month! :D

Just like last year, I can't really do much in terms of changing up the channel's pfp/visuals. Instead, I've got a little announcement that I think is especially timely.

I'm cool with any pronouns now! Does that mean I'm nonbinary? ...shrug. I've been using the phrase "gender-apathetic" to describe myself, which is to say: I don't really care how people perceive me in terms of gender. I find the prospects of masculinity, femininity, and androgyny to be equal in my mind. I suppose that tracks given the channel's theme though lmao.

anyway, for something you'll probably care more about, new cover june 5th. (thats in 3 days for context) (i clarify cause timezones lol)

So now that my summer break has officially started as of today, I figured now's probably a good time to make an update post again:

Seeing as I don't have schoolwork to deal with anymore, I should hopefully be able to get more done. This includes both starting new songs as well as finishing half-done ones.

Once the Rob Cantor/Andrew Horowitz cover album is finished, I'll probably be taking a break from Tally Hall-related covers for a while. No idea if I'll commit to a full-length cover album right out the gate or not, but we'll see how I feel when the time comes.

I'm also somewhat tempted (and have been for a while now) to just... do other stuff in the middle of the uploads for the album like I did with MC//MR? But I don't know how that would go down with people. I mean, I know I did Seeing Another Day [Remastered], but that was a special. Eh, we'll see if I decide to or not.

Still, thank you for your support and here's to a little more activity on the channel throughout the near-ish future! :D

(Also just as a small note, yes I know the new Edu album is somewhat on the horizon with its first single out a bit ago, but none of those songs are gonna end up on the aforementioned Rob/Andrew cover album as its tracklist was written out several months ago)
