The stars finally came out after the chaos. ✨
Most of our trip to Rongpo Khola was defined by the "incidents"—the drone crash in the river and getting the car stuck. But once the sun went down and the noise of the day settled, the Himalayan night sky gave us this.
I spent hours untracked, manually capturing the frames for these star trails and astro timelapses. If you’ve ever wondered why I carry so much gear into the mountains, it’s for moments like this.
I’ve dedicated a special section at the end of the new film to these night sequences. It’s the "visual poetry" I’m most proud of from this journey.
