I used to think freedom meant getting the enemy out.

But over the years, walking with Jesus and ministering to people, I’ve learned that deliverance is sometimes only the beginning.

You can pray.
You can renounce.
You can break agreements.
You can cast the enemy out.

But if you continue believing the same lie that gave him room in the first place, you can find yourself fighting the same battle again.

That changed the way I understood freedom.

A stronghold often starts with a thought.
A thought entertained becomes a belief.
A belief repeated becomes an agreement.
And eventually, that lie can begin to feel like part of your identity.

That’s why I’ve had to learn this in my own walk too: I cannot believe everything I think.

I have to bring my thoughts back to the Word and ask:

“Is this actually what God says about me?”

Because Jesus didn’t just come to get us free.

He wants us to walk free.

And sometimes staying free looks like catching the lie early and replacing it with truth before it ever becomes a fortress.

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2

🔥 DEMONS TREMBLE AT THE NAME OF JESUS!

About a month ago, I prayed with this young woman during a Zoom deliverance prayer. She had been involved in fortune telling, but after prayer she testified that she GOT FREE and STOPPED! 🙌🔥

Today she revealed something she had never told me.

While we were praying on Zoom, supernatural paranormal activity started happening inside her house. Darkness was reacting while she was choosing JESUS and getting FREE!

But Jesus won. ❤️‍🔥

“There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 BSB

GLORY TO JESUS! The name of Jesus still has authority. Chains still break. Captives are still set free.

🔥 FAMILIAR PATTERNS CAN BE FAMILIAR SPIRITS

Have you ever looked at your family and noticed the same patterns repeating from generation to generation?

The same anger.
The same rejection.
The same fear.
The same broken relationships.
The same addictions.
The same emotional cycles.
The same destructive choices.

Sometimes what feels familiar is exactly what needs to be confronted.

A familiar spirit seeks access through familiar doors, familiar wounds, familiar agreements, and familiar patterns. When you begin breaking old agreements and renewing your mind in Christ, those old patterns may try to pull you back into what God is bringing you out of.

But Jesus Christ came to set the captives free.

You do not have to repeat what ran through your family.

You do not have to become what surrounded you.

You do not have to keep agreeing with an old identity because it feels familiar.

🔥 Recognize the pattern
🔥 Repent where agreement was made
🔥 Renounce every ungodly agreement
🔥 Break agreement with generational sin and destructive cycles
🔥 Submit your mind, emotions, and life to Jesus Christ
🔥 Stand in your identity and authority in Christ

Some patterns are learned behaviors and emotional responses, so we need wisdom and discernment rather than assuming every repeated behavior is spiritual. But when there is spiritual influence, we confront it through Jesus Christ, truth, repentance, forgiveness, and the authority He has given us.
