People like this have made many creators work without any gain for their work. My page on tiktok is My_Nigerian_Folktales but this person has put most of my stories on his tiktok page (stories I had created way before the advent of AI, by the way. So they were created with sweat and blood. Albeit imperfect), and that of unsuspecting others. And even has more followers than the original creators of the stories. How sad!

LET'S DROP THE PRETENCE!

Let's not pretend like we do not know our nation, currently, is bleeding.
And our leaders, blinded by greed and thirst for power, ignore the parents' pleading.

How long shall we endure the lies
They tell everyday before our eyes
"We condemn this!" They tell us
Yet the nation incur loss.

They began in the North with the Chibok girls
Now in the South, our people defenceless
Regardless, we smile through our tears
And heartbreaks for our dears.

Now we wish our children today
Happy Children's Day
Yet some are currently in captivity
Experiencing as it were, negativity.

There's so much to say, yet the words fade away,
As the hardship grows heavier day by day.
I hate to be pessimistic but suffering abounds,
As fear walks freely through our troubled lands.

The bandits, the chaos, the ripple effects too,
Turning simple survival into battles anew.
It gets harder each moment to give children the best,
Yet we rise every morning to face the test.

Yes, today we celebrate with laughter and cheer,
The beauty of childhood we all hold dear.
But let's not pretend that all is fine,
When pain hides behind almost every smile.

For the truth is alive in the struggles we see,
In parents fighting daily just to make ends meet.
Still, through the darkness, one thing remains
We'll keep fighting for these children thru the pains.

Happy Children's Day .
