Haven't been posting much because I've been struggling with mental health issues; suicidal thoughts and just general difficulty understanding life.
While at the lake today, a kind woman complimented my outfit and it caught me off-guard and pulled me out of my head a little. It was very nice of her and helped give me a new perspective.
Be kind to people -- you never know what it can mean or how much it can help someone : )

It was a beautiful evening today at the lake. Took some pictures and wanted to share them with everyone! I love that the squirrel found some hooman food to munch on 😄 probably not healthy for the little guy, tho.

Since June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, I wanted to make a post letting y'all know this account belongs to a man who struggles with suicidal thoughts on a regular basis. This isn't to garnish pity or support and I have made great strides in improving my mental health over the past 7 years. I used to think about suicide almost every single day, but now find that it is a rarer occurrence for me now.
Men, you deserve a life where you know that you're loved and cherished for who you are and that you should be able to live a life free from the stress of suicidal thoughts, thinking that you're worthless, that nobody could ever love you, or that life has no happiness to offer. Think of all the stress and sorrow you face because of what you think in your head and please realize that you deserve to be free from it.
Take small steps each day to combat the thoughts that hold you back, stress you out, or tell you you're worthless; take control where you feel there is none, allow yourself to make mistakes and give yourself time to learn from them, and have the patience for yourself to find a better mode of living, a better way of thinking.
May God bless the mental health of this world's men 🙏 and uplift those with tender and loving hearts 🙏
