I never thought I’d actually do this. It’s something I’ve thought about a few times before, but I always pushed it aside and kept going… until now.
After a lot of thought and prayer, I’ve decided to stop vlogging and sharing my life on here. My soul has been craving a more private life, one where I can truly be present with my family and live in the moment without a camera.
I’ve been vlogging for 7 years, and somewhere along the way, I stopped just living and started capturing everything instead. It’s honestly hard to grasp that I don’t even know what it feels like to experience a vacation, a holiday, or even a simple moment without thinking about a camera. I want to know what it’s like to fully be there, to feel it, not film it.
These past 7 years have meant more to me than I could ever put into words. From the very beginning until now, you’ve supported me, grown with me, and allowed me to share pieces of my life with you and I will never take that for granted. Thank you for every view, every message, every kind word, and every moment you chose to be a part of this journey with me.
Even though I’m stepping away from vlogging, my creative side will still want to bring little moments to you where I can share cozy vibes, simple joys, and small inspirations, like decorating, recipes, or quick little pieces of happiness. These will be posted here as YouTube Shorts or on TikTok (@sharlene.colon), and I’m excited to share these glimpses of life with you in a way that feels more intentional and heartfelt.
