Massive Concrete Casting at Atan Section!

The Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway is no longer just a plan, it’s happening on the ground! We are currently seeing intensive work at the Atan/Sokoto Road axis in Ogun State.

Key Highlights:
Rigid Pavement: Ongoing casting of the concrete carriageway to ensure maximum durability.
Strategic Link: This section is vital for connecting the Agbara industrial hub to the rest of the 1,000km corridor.
National Impact: Connecting Sokoto to Badagry across Kebbi, Niger, Kwara, Oyo, and Ogun.

HUGE MILESTONE ON THE ILESA-IFE-IBADAN EXPRESSWAY! 🇳🇬🏗️

The transformation of this critical 108km corridor is hitting high gear! I’ve been on-site tracking the progress, and the shift to rigid pavement (concrete) is changing the game.

Here’s the latest breakdown:

From the Ilesa end: Construction has pushed past the Iwaraja Junction and is now roughly 40km into the journey, almost reaching the Ife Junction!

The "Front Line":Clearing is currently ongoing right towards the Ife Junction to prepare the ground for the next concrete pour.

From the Ibadan end: Work is simultaneously pushing toward Ife. Concrete paving has already been achieved on several sections, and clearing has reached all the way to Ikire on one carriageway!

This is massive progress for commuters and the local economy. No more temporary fixes, we are talking about a 50-year road!
