I GOT TO SEE JAMES GUNN'S SUPERMAN. MY REVIEW 🙂
First off. I am the biggest Superman fan. I've been a fan since 2014, which is roughly 11 years ( maybe so small, but that's almost my entire life as far as my memory can recall)

I have watched as many Superman cartoons and read multiple comic runs of the character. I know pretty much a lot what Superman was, is and is supposed to be.

I'll clear one thing out. I don't think this movie is better than Man and Steel, but I think the take on the Superman character here is an upgrade.

It was a fun experience. The big grin on my face, mostly throughout the movie, spoke for itself. I don't even know exactly what to make of the movie 🫡.
A lot of stuff gave me a throwback feel of some past iterations (life action, animations, and comics)😊

I think it can be enjoyable to everyone just that some people may feel it's too childish and I won't say they're wrong. It's all about tastes. But for every true Superman fan who has seen cartoons and reads comics, this is an excellent movie

It had its downs, of course
- Too short for me. I somehow wanted more. I think this has to do with the 20-minute scenes that were cut out
- I felt like there wasn't enough of Superman ( the characters were well managed, but somehow, I needed some more of Superman time).
- Stuff happened too fast. One of the many things Man of Steel did great was good pacing. In this movie, there is not enough time between Sequences, and that's a huge factor)

Overall, it was amazing
My rating,
7.98 ( still unsure, maybe 8.2, I'll have to watch again 😂)

Is the DCU up to a good start ? ABSOLUTELY 💯

David Corenswet can absolutely improve and take his place among the best 👌
