In depth update on Mark:

For those that were unaware, Mark injured his back about 2 months ago which made it very difficult for him to get around; because of this, he had to miss the first film session at the beginning of January.

He started showing some improvement by mid January and had planned to attend the film session at the end of January, but an unfortunate occurrence aggravated that injury again, meaning he'd have to miss that session as well and as a result of both sessions being missed, about 2.5 months of content.

While he's far from 100%, and options for his back are still being assessed, Mark was finally in a condition where he was able to attend Sunday's film session and record enough content for the next several weeks!!

The rumors we saw in the comments over the last few months were quite humorous 😅 Mark was never at risk of leaving the channel, we didn't make up his back injury to cover for a large falling out amongst the Crew, and no we didn't murder him 😜😅😂🤣

We were ready for Mark to return whenever he was comfortable doing so, and while I'm sure sitting in his Studio chair for 9 hours Sunday recording content wasn't the best, he persevered like a trooper!!

Our film session on Sunday was one of our best, filled with laughs, learnings, new taste tests and more and it was great to have the Crew back whole again!

Mark's first episode appearance since December 16 is TODAY...come welcome him back!

This time 2 years ago we had less than 2,000 subscribers. It's been a wild ride these last few years going from "is it worth it to continue creating content?" to where we are today ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hey all! Just wanted to touch base on something that may be helpful for those that aren't aware of how we film content.

Due to our busy lives individually with our FT jobs, home life, etc. we "batch record" all of our content. This essentially means rather than film our content on an episodic basis, we get together about once a month and film multiple weeks in one "film session" that usually occurs over the course of several hours.

Normally about the time we're running out of prerecorded content, we're getting back together for another session so we don't have a lapse in content.

This is why you'll notice Mark not in the next handful of episodes as he was unfortunately not feeling well the day of our last film session; he is feeling much better now, but to those that aren't aware of our film cadence, it may seem as if he's down and out for the next 2-3 weeks, which isn't the case.

Hopefully this helps put things into perspective a bit 🙂🙂🙂🙂

We saw the results of the survey from last week, and we're responding accordingly!! Next weekend, we will be vlogging a walkthrough of a local city to us, giving you some insight into where we're from!

We'll be showing you some foods, museums, parks, and general sights!! Even though they are local, most all of these places we visit will be brand new experiences for us as well!!

- Toad In The Hole (royally messed up 😂🤣)
