you may have noticed that i stopped sharing swatch & reviews of collections during their release. that's because doing them became more of a "chore" versus me enjoying the process. that's not what i wanted them to feel like and i guess i burnt myself out following the "grind" of it all.

it was more cumbersome having to dedicate majority of my time after work to try swatching & edit everything out in time for the release date. like i want to do ✨️other✨️ things after work and not add more stress to myself. i like picking which collections i want to swatch & review as it makes it more fun.

which is why i prioritized this collection, polished joy:

it's message resonates loudly with me and it's exactly what i needed at this time! the amount of fun i had swatching, editing, and doing voice overs was unmeasurable. it felt seamless versus forced. honestly, i feel like you can hear it in my voice of the video. when i got done with the final look-through i literally turned to evan (s/o) and told him i actually had fun and time flew by QUICK. i completely lost myself in the art of these videos and that's the high i want to chase.

TWO releases are coming out this weekend, mooncat on friday, and holo taco on saturday. fortunately/unfortunately, i'm having some busy weeks with life/work stuff. i won't be having any swatch videos out in time.
