A small post:) My channel passed the mark of 15k subs - and it took me 15 long years on youtube to get to this point:) And also i'm hitting the age of 42 - old age, ain't tired and still funky!) Hello my dear Soul Friends from all around the world!
Some news about my channel.
Sadly my personal collection of rare and obscure singles are almost dry out - and these days i can't buy no more records. I hope to return to vinyl collecting sooner or later - one day it surely will happen. I'm still have some goodies left in my crates that are pretty cool, but its only maybe about 100-200 45's - with mostly gospel and strange rock/country/psych obscuriries and only about 20-30 interesting soul and funk records. On the long run its not enough to update my youtube channel with a good and constant flow of forgotten music gems. But, i want this channel to become bigger than its right now. Currently i'm in search of regular job, so while i have a spare time - i'm fully dedicating myself to youtube.
So from the beggining of this month, to deliver more content to my youtube channel, i've started to share 45s from my evergrowing wishlist - the records that i never own, and probably wont - the focus will be on the rare, little known and off the radar records. And my collectors heart is bleeding that i don't have 'em. But these stuff is definetely worth of more attention from collectors and music lovers. I hope you won't be very dissapointed! As my old subs may noticed - they flow of music on this channel is raised significantly - during this month i've posted more songs that during previous 1,5-2 years.
I'm still experimenting with posting schedule and material. My audience mostly enjoying 70s and 80s soul and funk vibes. I love this shit:), but my tastes spreading a little bit further:) So i've made a changes to the video thumbnails - adding the music genre and the release year of singles on new videos. So you my friends can save your time and choose what to listen or to skip.
Current 45s schedule for my channel:
Mon-Fri: all kinds of soul, funk, disco, boogie grooves from 70s-80s with some 60s and nowadays funky revival now and than.
And the weekend will be for more eclectic vibes:
Fri(maybe)-Sat: 60s soul, garage, rock, psych, oldies, country, bizzare music
Sun: gospel
It's approximate plan:) I may change it any day if i want it, and if i'll found smthg that is blowing my mind - and i'll need to share it immediately:)
Some words about live streams. It's a little bit frustrating and dissapointing to run a live stream for 1-2 or 3 people online. So currently i'm pausing streaming, and concenrtrating on sharing music and i hope that audience of this channel will grow. We will see. Anyway i will return to streaming. Just need some time for that and maybe some fresh ideas. Chopped and screwed gospel wax stream is still in plans - i'll put an announcement for this one:)

Hello my dear soul friends! today was an amazing stream with so much support an love from my dear regular watchers: "DJ Vinyl Goblin", "Xoc A.M.B.", "Hassen Mobarek", "kai lyja mes šokame" Friends you're awesome!

At the end of the stream i've received a message in chat from new subscriber, with the cool nickname "jazzsoulfan": "Hey, you'r a really heavy guy! You would like to get support / donations for music you only downloaded."
Its sounded like a claim to my collectors ears. Because i'm feeling myself as a vinyl junkie. And to let all my new subscribers know - 99,9% of the songs on this channel was ripped and scaned from my perconal record collection (i can't say 100% because in the beginning of youtubing i've shared few songs that i never had on vinyl, also i've sold some of these records during past years) - and due to the past 12 years i've spend all my money on vinyl 45s - thousands and thousands $$$ - mostly on little known obscure and rare records - as a hobby, just to share these forgotten music with modern audience. Sadly nowadays i can't buy new records, because i'm living in Russia - and due to financial sanctions i can't pay abroad - ebay and discogs aswell as all other record markets are not available for Russian record junkies. So i'm stuck with what i had in my crates. I'm doing music streams in digital format to save my needles and vinyl - when needles will erase - it will be a big problem for me to renewal them now(( But still i'm ready to stand to my home decks and spin some cool 45s for a small $10 donation wich will really help me to hold on these days. Also i've lost my business in just one moment due to this crazy war madness. Right now I'm praying for peace and trying to make a living from these live streams. Donations is the only income as i dont have any monetization from youtube. If you enjoing my streams and would like to support me - you can do it. And i will be very happy and grateful for your kind attitude:)
And thinking about future - most of my regular long time watchers are familiar with songs and records that i've been playing on the streams. And while i cant get new records by now - probably i will expand the music i play on live streams with some good rare choones from my wishlist that i never had on vinyl - but that are inspired me to keep on digging, when i had a chance for it - and i pray to be able to get them in future. You may noticed that the flow of good forgotten music on my youtube channel has been stopped during past two months. The reason of that, is because youtube canceled my partnership program.
