So much of the research for my videos ends up on the cutting room floor. The format of my videos (and to a degree the YouTube algorithm) means that I gloss over a ton of detail. Would you be interested in a deep dive, podcast style video as a follow up to each spy story where I talk through some my research notes to cover interesting aspects of the stories not covered in my main video?

What do you think of YouTube channel memberships? I've only ever taken out a membership once for a month to access some video editing templates... If you do support creators with memberships, what sort of benefits do you expect?

By far my biggest flop (views-wise) on the channel of late. A pity as I thought it was one of my best! Nevertheless, I press on.

I've taken my latest video on Sasha Litvinenko down due to a claim by the copyright holder of the Rebellion: The Litvinenko Case documentary, of which I featured a few clips. I'll re-upload once I've edited those out. Be right back!

I'm aiming to have my next video out this Friday in time for the Easter weekend. It's been a real slog finding the time to put this one together but I'm pleased with how it's turning out!

I just learned that Oleg Gordievsky, former KGB colonel, spy for Great Britain and later Cold War defector to the UK, has died aged 86. His death at his home in Surrey is apparently not being treated as suspicious. Oleg's story was what launched my channel, being the first True Life Spy Story that I ever covered. His escape from behind the Iron Curtain truly was the stuff of spy thriller legends. There is no doubt that since defecting, his assistance to British intelligence and other intelligence agencies across the free world was invaluable.

I'll be releasing a new spy story tonight at 8 pm GMT / 4 pm EDT / 1 pm PDT.
This time we return to the early Cold War to learn about one of the CIA's most valuable spies of the era and how the agency's mishandling of his case sent our spy into a spiralling madness!

Daniel Khalife sentenced today in the UK to 14 years, 3 months for spying for Iran! If you are not familiar with his story, now would be an opportune time to watch my video that tells his true life spy story.

The video I posted right before the end of last year (Anthology of True Life Spy Stories Vol. 2) was randomly demonetised last night. I also previously noticed a bunch of rendering artefacts in it, so I intend to re-upload that video soon to overcome those hurdles. Apologies for the re-post!
