Mesum Abbas
Mesum Abbas, as he is known professionally, is a renowned Muslim artist who recites/sings about the tragedies of the Prophet Muhammad's family (Ahlulbayt).
Mesum Abbas is something of a prodigy in the world of Shiite Islam. Powerful clerics are said to know of his work. His work sells all across his family's native land, Pakistan, where 20 percent of the population of 180 million is Shiite and India. He is recognized across the globe and has been featured on the front page of The New York Times, which has given his work a phenomenal review.
Mesum was born and raised in the United States in the state of New Jersey and has released 25 albums since his debut album in 1999, at the age of 9. His lamentations are followed avidly by listeners across the globe.
Mesum Abbas is affiliated with the TV network Imam Hussein TV in the UK appearing as a judge on all seasons of The Shia Voice since its inception, ARY Digital, and many record labels across various countries.

Yeh aanay wala noha “Ya Zahra (sa)” aik aisa kalam hai, jismein pehli dafa Urdu zabaan aur Iraqi andaz aik hi sada mein mil rahe hain — aik hi maqsad aur aik hi gham ke saath.
Urdu ke maroof aur bain-ul-aqwami nohakhwan Syed Mesum Abbas aur Bahrain me muqeem Iraqi radood zakir Mulla Hussain Faisal ne apni awaaz, apni mehnat aur apni aqeedat ko mila kar yeh noha pesh kiya hai.
Is nohay ki aik khaas baat yeh bhi hai
ke iski recording ka tareeqa Iraqi andaaz se mutasir hai —
wohi gehraai, wohi fiza, wohi mehsoos honay wali sooz bhari hava — aur saath hi saath Urdu shaa’iri ka dard aur sooz bhi shamil hai, jo is gham ko aur bhi qareeb se mehsoos karwata hai.
Sab se aham pehlu yeh hai ke Bibi Zahra (sa) ka gham na aik qaum tak mehdood hai,na riwayat tak, na mukhtasir saqaafati tareeq-e-parhai tak.
Yeh gham sab ka hai — sab ko jorne wala, aur sab ko aik hi saf mein khara karne wala.
Yeh noha isi sachchai ki tasveer hai: mukhtalif lehje, mukhtalif riwayatein… lekin aik hi gham mein muttahid.
Aakhir mein dua hai ke yeh koshish, yeh niyyat aur yeh aqeedat Rasool-e-Khuda (SAWW) aur Ahlul Bayt (as) ki bargah mein qabool ho.

یہ آنے والا نوحہ “یا زہرا (س)”
ایک ایسا کلام ہے جس میں پہلی بار اُردو زبان اور عراقی انداز ایک ہی صدا میں مل رہے ہیں ایک ہی مقصد اور ایک ہی غم کے ساتھ اُردو کے معروف اور بینُ الاقوامی نوحہ خواں سید میثم عباس اور بحرین میں مقیم عراقی رادود و ذاکر مُلّا حسین فیصل نے اپنی آواز، اپنی محنت اور اپنی عقیدت کو ملا کر یہ نوحہ پیش کیا ہے اس نوحے کی ایک خاص بات یہ بھی ہے کہ اس کی ریکارڈنگ کا طریقہ عراقی انداز سے متاثر ہے وہی گہرائی، وہی فضا، وہی سوز بھرا ماحول اور اس کے ساتھ اُردو شاعری کا درد اور سوز بھی شامل ہے، جو اس غم کو اور بھی قریب سے محسوس کرواتا ہے۔سب سے اہم پہلو یہ ہے کہ بی بی زہرا (س) کا غم نہ ایک قوم تک محدود ہے، نہ ایک روایت تک،نہ کسی مخصوص ثقافتی اندازِ پڑھائی تک۔ یہ غم سب کا ہے—سب کو جوڑنے والا، اور سب کو ایک ہی صف میں کھڑا کرنے والا یہ نوحہ اسی سچائی کی تصویر ہے مختلف لہجے، مختلف روایتی لیکن ایک ہی غم میں متحد۔
آخر میں دعا ہے کہ یہ کوشش، یہ نیت اور یہ عقیدت رسولِ خدا (SAWW) اور اہلُ البیتؑ (AS) کی بارگاہ میں قبول ہو۔
