एक वक्त था…
जब आँगन में बिखरे रोटी के टुकड़े और दाने किसी के आने का इंतज़ार करते थे…
हमारे घर कच्चे होते थे और घरों में छप्पर होते थे।
वो दीवारों के कोनों में, छत की धन्नियों के बीच और छप्पर में घोंसला बनाती,
हम उसे परिवार का हिस्सा मानते थे…
ना डर, ना दूरी… बस अपनापन।
हमारे घर में सिर्फ हमारा ही नहीं गौरैया का भी परिवार रहा करता था।
लेकिन आज…
घर बड़े हो गए हैं, पक्के हो गए हैं,
दीवारें चमकदार हो गई हैं,
वह छप्पर ना रहे जिनमें गौरैया अपना घर बनाती थी। छोटे-छोटे कोने खो गए हैं…
और उन्हीं के साथ…
गौरैया भी।
अब सुबह मोबाइल की आवाज़ से होती है,
ना कोई चूँ-चूँ, ना कोई हलचल…
बस एक अजीब सा सन्नाटा।
गौरैया सिर्फ एक चिड़िया नहीं है…
वो हमारी यादें हैं,
हमारा बचपन है…
उसे बचाइए…
ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ियाँ सिर्फ कहानी नहीं,
उसे जी भी सकें।
अगर आप भी वो पुरानी सुबहें वापस चाहते हैं…तो
अपनी बालकनी/छत पर
एक प्याले में पानी रखें
दाने डालें
एक छोटा सा घोंसला लगाएं
हमारा एक छोटा कदम…
किसी की पूरी दुनिया बचा सकता है। और हमारी खुशियां भी।
