Recently, I was invited to speak at the annual SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) India conference, for the second year in a row. The subject-Navigating the Future-Bridging ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and Vehicle Dynamics for Smarter Driving. It was both a pleasure and honour to share my views with India’s top automotive engineers, academicians and young engineering students, on why I think ADAS is necessary for better Road Safety in India, but it’s still not suitable for our roads and driving conditions. So either ADAS is adapted and designed specifically for India, or India changes to be suitable for ADAS, which is presently engineered for advanced countries.

Today is "50 Years of Project Tiger". In 2013, Bob spent 50 days in his selection of "India's Best Tiger Reserves" and in 2014, his book "Tracking the Tiger" done in association with Land Rover and Born Free was released. It got lots of appreciative reviews and critical acclaim And Bob believes, "The world is divided between those that have seen a tiger in the wild, and those that have not".
